Even if other repair services have claimed it to be unrepairable they may not have truely reballed your GPU, or fried it during the process, we can still attempt to replace your GPU package with a refurbished unit, this will not add to the price but may increase repair time. However the previous repair attempts may have caused too much damage to the board in which case we can offer a part exhange for a refurbished unit.
There are many guides/videos around the internet showing DIY methods. Although these HeatGun/Clamp methods can work and could fix the unit for a few weeks, they can also cause unseen damage* resulting in shortened lifespan. With our BGA rework system we are able to completely and evenly reflow the GPU whilst following an accurate temperature profile minimising the chance of damage. Because of the nature of the fault being the Lead-free solder itself we can only guarantee our reflows for a maximum of 6months**
Disc Reading Errors
Symptoms:
Unit accepts discs but does not load, dvds will play but games and Bluray discs do not.
Diagnosis:
Laser has failed, on some occasions is simply dirty.
Repair:
We do offer laser cleaning, however this can prove to have a short lifespan due to laser overworking when dirty. So we always recommend a replacement which will come with 1year guarantee.
DiscDrive Mechanical Loading Issues
Symptoms:
Bluray Drive not longer accepts discs or will not eject a disc stuck inside.
Diagnosis:
This fault can be from many different issues and therefore we can only diagnose the exact problem once we have received the console or drive.
Repair:
Re-alignment of loading gears. Replacement parts. All work/parts is guaranteed for 6months.

We try our best to ensure there are no hidden/extra charges from the above which also covers the cost of most replacement parts, however on rare occasions outsourced replacement parts are required. Should this be the case, the customer will be sent a revised quotation before proceeding further.
If you live in Larne, Ballyclare, Co.Antrim area, Northern Ireland, drop-off/private collection may be possible, just be sure to include this in your email.
*Because of this we always ask for your units history, and all received units undergo indepth inspection before any repairs are undertaken.
**Stated Warranty period applies only to unopened consoles(Sony warranty sticker still intact). Warranty period on opened/previously repaired consoles can be upto 50% of unopened consoles, however this is only determined once inspection is complete. Warranty covers our work/parts only unless otherwise stated.
Customer assumes full responsibility for all postage costs under warranty, unless the unit is Dead-On-Arrival in which case a support ticket should be opened by emailing within 24hours of receipt to insure the customer receives full refund for postage once unit has been inspected by us.
In event of cancellation of contract customer is responsible for return postage.
